How to Live Before You Die
Embracing life to the fullest: A doctor's inspirational prescription.
The program, titled "How to Live Before You Die: Embracing Life to the Fullest," features an exclusive filmed interview with Sasha Vukelja, who as a young girl escaped from communist Yugoslavia and emigrated to the United States. Vukelja, now an oncologist, tells how she works with patients facing an uncertain future to find hope and a positive attitude.
Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Snacks and beverages are available.
Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual coffeehouse-type setting.
LifeTree Lunch meets in the Community Hall at Oak Bay United Church, Wednesdays, 12:30 - 1:30 pm and Moka House, Wednesdays, 7:00 - 8:00 pm. |

The Oak Bay United Church Thrift Shop is open every Friday (except Good Friday), from 10AM until 2PM, and the first Saturday of the month, from 10AM until 12:30PM. Gently used items may be brought to the Thrift Shop Wednesday mornings between 9:30 and noon, or pick-ups can be arranged by calling the church office and talking directly to Susan 250 598 5021 ext 0.
