How to Live Before You Die


Embracing life to the fullest: A doctor's inspirational prescription.

 

The program, titled "How to Live Before You Die: Embracing Life to the Fullest," features an exclusive filmed interview with Sasha Vukelja, who as a young girl escaped from communist Yugoslavia and emigrated to the United States. Vukelja, now an oncologist, tells how she works with patients facing an uncertain future to find hope and a positive attitude.

 

Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Snacks and beverages are available. 

 

Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual coffeehouse-type setting. 


LifeTree Lunch  meets in the Community Hall at Oak Bay United Church, Wednesdays, 12:30 - 1:30 pm and Moka House, Wednesdays, 7:00 - 8:00 pm.

THRIFT STORE spring 2013 smallThe Oak Bay United Church Thrift Shop is open every Friday (except Good Friday), from 10AM until 2PM, and the first Saturday of the month, from 10AM until 12:30PM.  Gently used items may be brought to the Thrift Shop Wednesday mornings between 9:30 and noon, or pick-ups can be arranged by calling the church office and talking directly to Susan 250 598 5021 ext 0.
