Come and take some time to sit in silence. Together we will explore two contemplative practices: Contemplative Reading (Lectio Divina), and the Centering Prayer. We will be guided through both practices, and there will be time to discuss the process. All are welcome! No prior experience is necessary. Calling Crafters of All Ages and Stages!

All are invited to an hour or more of intergenerational fun and fellowship! Following the service on the second Sunday of every month, bring a handwork/crafty activity of any sort to the Community Hall to work on it while spending time with friends (or making new friends!).

In the interest of safety and sound levels, we ask that you not bring any power tools.

Phyllis Beardsley will lead 5 discussion sessions about the book Saving Us by Christian climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe. Katharine says that the most important action we can take for the climate is to TALK about it. This is difficult when it seems that everyone is worried but nobody is talking! This study group will help us to feel less alone with our worries and to decide together about what action to take. We will discuss one section of the book each session. You are warmly welcome to join us for any or all of these sessions.
